Hamilton Bright adapts to stricter EcoVadis standards on the path to sustainability
At Hamilton Bright, sustainability and corporate social responsibility are top priorities. In a world where sustainability is becoming increasingly urgent, we too feel the impact of stricter EcoVadis standards. The approaching 2030 deadline for the SDGs highlights the necessity of accelerating our efforts. While we achieved a higher score this year, the stricter methodology resulted in a bronze certification. We see this as a clear call to action: we must and want to do more. In our sector, we remain a frontrunner with a sustainability certification. That’s why we are focusing on 2025, aiming to strengthen our goals through targeted reporting and follow-up actions.
Progress on key pillars
We are proud of our improved score in the area of labor and human rights, a theme that aligns perfectly with our core value: People. At Hamilton Bright, people are the backbone of our organization and always take center stage. This is reflected in our certifications, such as Great Place to Work and Best Workplace. We remain committed to creating an inclusive work environment, with extra focus on diversity and preventing absenteeism.
Innovations and sustainable growth
We are also making strides in environmental initiatives. Our environmental policy is gaining recognition, with tangible goals such as transitioning to an entirely electric vehicle fleet. Furthermore, we contribute to no fewer than 7 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This underscores our vision to make a positive global impact, as detailed in our Impact Report 2023.
Motivation for the future
We are motivated to continue growing and investing in a better world. Despite stricter assessment criteria and the bronze certification, our score and efforts demonstrate that we are on the right path. Feedback from EcoVadis offers us opportunities to enhance our contributions to global challenges. In line with our sustainability program, we will maintain our focus on our 5 pillars: People, Planet, Partnerships, Alliances, and Communities.
